Taxis
As with all other taxis within the Basildon District Council area, Intacab taxis are white with the bonnet and boot lid or rear doors painted in orange.
Intacab has saloons, estate cars and three wheelchair accessible 8 seat vehicles. The wheel chair vehicles have been adapted to be able to accommodate most types of wheelchair, and two of these vehicles can accommodate two standard chairs. Photos 2/3 show the large interior seating area of the wheel-chair vehicles. Photo 4 illustrates the entry ramps and/or steps for access by disabled passengers.
These wheelchair vehicles are very often pre-booked well in advance and therefore it is recommended that should one of these vehicles be required, we strongly advise early booking.
The drivers of theses vehicles have passed their PATS training to gain knowledge of the method of operating such vehicles combined with the passenger needs.
